Gasoline prices of Costa Rica

The price of super gas has gone up and the price of regular gas and diesel has dropped in Costa Rica.

The actual prices (per liter):
566 Regular
593 Super
494 Diesel

 

Ferry service suspended

From March the 18th on there will be no ferry service between Puntarenas and Paquera, for at least 7 days. Drivers can take the ferry that commutes between Puntarenas and Playa Naranjo. Playa Naranjo is 25.3 kilometers from Paquera away, the connecting road is unpaved.

Departure time from Puntarenas: 6:30 am, 10:00 am, 2:30 pm, 7:30 pm. Duration: 1 hour. Departure time Playa Naranjo: 8:00 am, 12:30 pm, 5:30 pm, 9:00 pm. Duration: 1 hours.

 

 

Starting from March 18th the new traffic law is in effect

There is still a lot of confusion about the new traffic law and not all policemen are applying the new law.

 

The weather in Costa Rica

In San Jose in March the minimum temperature is statistically 62.4°F (16.9°C) and the maximum temperature is 76.1°F (24.5°C). The average rainfall for the whole month is 11 millimeters and it rains an average of 4 days.
