The new highway from San Jose to Caldera is open and integrated in the route planner. Some routes have changed with this new connection between San Jose and Caldera. Destinations in the north of Costa Rica and on the Nicoya Peninsula are now more convenient to reach, coming from San Jose, via the new road (27).
